Base salary and benefits
Base salary is fixed compensation paid to employees for carrying out their role and is established based on the following factors:
- Scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as qualifications required to perform the role
- External market value of the role in the location in which Swiss Re competes for talent
- Performance, skills and expertise of the individual in the role
Swiss Re also aims to provide a proper degree of protection to employees and their dependents through pension, health, disability and death benefits in line with local market conditions.
